Daft As A Brush
Backpedalers have chosen Daft As A Brush Cancer Patient Care as the charity they will support with Cycle Challenge 2015.
With so many worthy causes to choose from it's not an easy decision, but Daft As A Brush met our criteria and was the unanimous choice.
- We try to support local charities and Daft As A Brush is based in Newcastle and helps cancer patients in Northumberland, Durham, North Tyneside and Newcastle.
- We admire the work they do. From their website,
Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care offers staffed custom-made
vehicles to transport outpatients, free of charge, to and from Hospital
who are undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy cancer treatment.
- Some of us thought it appropriate to be associated with a charity called Daft As A Brush!
Daft As A Brush need £100 000 per year to fulfil their commitments and we hope that we can help them meet that target in 2015.
