Fundraising

As well as keeping fit and healthy and having fun, Seaton Sluice Backpedalers aim to raise money for worthwhile causes, usually a charity with local connections. In 2013 we raised £3680 which was divided between the Percy Hedley Foundation and Marie Curie Cancer UK.

This year we have decided to support the Great North Air Ambulance.
An air ambulance charity serving Cumbria, the North-East and North Yorkshire 365 days a year. We need to raise £4m a year to keep our three helicopters flying.
Living (and cycling) near the Northumberland coast we are all aware of the need for need for such an organisation and the important work that they do.

Sponsor forms will be available soon along with details of how donations can be made online.
